Rotary Foundation


Ambassadorial Scholarships.   A full ($27,000.00), one year academic scholarship for study abroad. Open to both graduate and undergraduate students. Scholars are expected not only to perform academically, but also to serve as unofficial ambassadors of goodwill.

 World Peace Scholarship.  A two year, $50,000.00 scholarship for master’s degree candidates to study at one of seven Rotary Centers for International Studies in peace and conflict resolution.

 Group Study Exchange.  A business, social, vocational, educational and cultural exchange with a Rotary District in another part of the world. Open to non-Rotarians between the ages of 25 and 40 who will spend four to six weeks in another part of the world interacting with people in their professions and experiencing educational and cultural points of interest in their host country while living in the homes of local Rotarians.

 Matching Grants.  A program wherein local Rotary clubs together with clubs in foreign countries and Rotary International provide funding for humanitarian projects in local communities. These include such things as text books for schools, wells for villages with no fresh water, medical supplies to areas with limited resources, and many many other projects.
